In order to implement a large-scale project for the construction of a modern campus on Gzhatskaya Street, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great signed a contract with Elmaco for the construction of a complex of 4 administrative and residential modular buildings designed to accommodate nonresident students and teachers.
Four two-storey prefabricated modular buildings, each with an area of about 1325 m2, were assembled by Elmaco from 34 block modules. Each floor consists of 17 modules, the overall dimensions of one module are 12x3.2x3.4m (LxWxH).
The total area of the modular campus of four buildings is 5300 m2.
Prefabricated modular buildings Elmaco are made on standard of Premium class. For their construction were used the most modern and technologically advanced equipment and materials.
One of the features of these modular buildings is the design of the facade made of composite hinged panels (alucobond), which allow to hide the joints between the block modules and impart a holistic view for modular construction.
Modular dormitories Elmaco meet all regulatory requirements for administrative and residential buildings, and are equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living, including all necessary engineering systems: water supply system with metering unit, water removal system (sanitary units, showers), water heating system with ITP and backup electric boiler, general exchange system of supply and exhaust ventilation. All rooms are equipped with Internet access and a communication system with the room of the university staff on duty, all buildings and the territory are under video surveillance.
All works on production of block modules, their installation on the object, installation of the hinged facade, as well as internal finishing, engineering and commissioning works have been performed by Elmaco and transferred to the customer "turnkey".
